Being a Leader

Whoever else I influence as a leader, whatever else I may do, shaping men is a call to which I must answer--a call that first requires my being shaped myself, as a man.  Those who lead in the church will multiply something!!  What am I multiplying?  I am to be bearer of the promise that His grace shall reproduce "sons" through me.  God is at work, reviving the church and restoring men.  It is to be my priority to lead men to places of humility, responsibility, and servanthood.  Our greatest challenge facing us in the church today is to reassert the Lordship of Jesus Christ in each and every man in the body of Christ!!

My son asked me for advice the other day so I listened to what he said. He asked me what he should do. I answered with a question "what do you think you should do?" He asked me if I thought that was his best choice "I told him that there are many ways to accomplish what he wanted and I didn't have a crystal ball to see the future. He asked what if it turned out bad. I told him to be prepared to pick yourself up and try a different direction. He told me that I wasn't much help, I repsonded with I am just a man, like you, not your Holy spirit, If I were you I would pray about it and ask God for direction. Funny I trust God with my Kid's life now. God is the ultimate protector. God has never let me down and has always lead me where I should be when I had the courage and wisdom to ask....that is leadership
